About Ion Histology

I founded Ion Histology after three decades of firsthand experience in Anatomic Pathology laboratories where inspection preparation often became a source of intense pressure for supervisors and staff.

Throughout my career, I have been responsible for building laboratory systems, writing policies and procedures, and preparing documents for regulatory and accreditation inspections. I have experienced firsthand how overwhelming compliance preparation can feel when the daily workload never slows down.

My approach is practical and structured. Rather than adding more stress and complexity, I focus on helping laboratories organize their documentation, clarify their processes, and prepare in a way that supports both inspection readiness and everyday operations.

Ion Histology was created to provide experienced, hands-on compliance support so that laboratory leaders can remain focused on patient care and team management while compliance preparation is handled in a calm, systematic, and realistic way.

Ion Histology provides independent compliance consulting services and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) or any regulatory or accreditation organization.

All recommendations are advisory in nature. Individual laboratories remain responsible for implementing policies, maintaining compliance, and meeting all applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements.
